With visitors from as far afield as Guam, Thailand, Korea and Brazil, HASS’s recent 30th anniversary celebrations saw the company premises become the centre of attraction for numerous visitors from all over the world.

"I was overwhelmed that so many visitors celebrated these days with us and made it to a unique and unforgettable time,” said Volker Haas, company founder. “Today, we operate globally and are a major regional employer with over 80 employees. In 1989, we started small, in a double garage in Stockum.

“During our business development we were able to experience a lot of beautiful things, so our wish was: to pass on a piece of the happiness that we often enjoyed to people who rarely encounter happiness. Instead of flowers and gifts in kind, people were therefore asked for donations for the Unnauer Patenschaft (children's cancer aid). At the moment the donation amount is already more than 3500 Euro! We would like to thank you again for all your donations."

On Thursday the festivities started with an informative dealer day. HAAS systems installed in Neuwied and Cologne demonstrated the expertise of the company live to the professional visitors.

The kick-off then was the evening event, with delicious food, cold drinks and the rock music duo "ZWO AMPERE", being celebrated into the night.

As a highlight and special surprise during the 30th anniversary of HAAS a TYRON as a CRJ special model was handed over to our sales partner CRJ, the joy about this was huge.

CRJ Services and HAAS have been working hand in hand since 2013! CRJ is HAAS‘ largest customer and currently operates 15 HAAS TYRON pre-shredders for machine rental.

More than 50 satisfied customers have now been supplied with mobile and stationary machines from Dreisbach. The combination of machine rental and sales creates a unique foundation of trust for potential customers! CRJ is able to point out that it operates 15 machines itself. The service and support with 16 service technicians, 4 of them on the road is excellent. I hope to add a few chapters to this success story,” René Perne, Sales Manager der HAAS GmbH

On Friday the company celebrated the official anniversary with a welcome of customers, representatives of politics and the Chamber of Crafts for plant demonstrations at our premises in Dreisbach. The slightly cloudy weather did not prevent the invited guests from coming in large numbers to watch the live demos or to learn more about one or another topic.

On Saturday, the final day was reserved for employees, their families and the citizens of Dreisbach. The sunny autumn weather was used by countless visitors to take a look behind the scenes.

The shining eyes of the children were not only caused by the huge pirate bouncy castle but above all by our "lively" TYRON. The children (and adults as well) could have photos taken of the approx. 2 m big mascot as a souvenir or even cuddle it!

The musicians of the Westerwald band "Walk the Line" created a great atmosphere for the adults with their wide range of blues, country and soul music. Drinks, snacks, coffee and cake could satisfy thirst and appetite.

During the demonstrations of the mobile machines amazed faces could be seen. Carsten Schmidt, our workshop manager, guided the visitors around the large machines and shared facts and figures with the interested audience. The TYRON double-shaft pre-shredder processed gigantic roots and wood waste into small-sized shredded material in seconds and then handed it over to the 3-fraction screen of the Italian manufacturer ECOSTAR.

Another machine combination consisting of the TYRON pre-shredder and the hammermill ARTHOS first shredded wood waste and later PVC window extrusions. The mobile non-ferrous and ferrous separator GLADIATOR finally removed ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

"At the beginning of the new millennium, we began producing diesel-powered mobile equipment for recycling waste wood. What we produce here in this small Westerwald town is very popular on the global market. We act professionally and still with a family atmosphere, which makes us proud," concluded Sascha Kloft, second managing director since 2015.
