Titech Rebrands as Tomra Sorting Solutions.
17 February 2012 Titech Group, a sensor-based sorting specialist, has rebranded as Tomra Sorting Solutions. According to the company, Tomra Sorting Solutions unites three sensor-based sorting and processing technology brands: recycling specialists Titech, mining specialists CommodasUltrasort, and specialists in international food processing, Odenberg. According to the company, the rebranding will deliver a number of customer benefits including access to an enhanced level of research and development, dedicated to innovation in sensor-based sorting technology for the recycling, mining and food sectors. In addition, the company claimed that customers will now benefit from a more comprehensive, company-wide service and support network. Rune Marthinussen, head of Tomra Sorting Solutions, commented: "This move enables us to fully integrate our strengths and expertise in sensor-based sorting for recycling, mining and food, delivering technology that guarantees optimal resource productivity." The company also said that the rebranding links the brands more visibly to their parent company, Tomra Systems.
