Metal recycling : Panizzolo takes innovation to IFAT

Innovation at Panizzolo Recycling Systems does not happen by chance. It is the result of a continuous process of research, testing and ongoing dialogue with industry operators. The experience gained in the design and management of recycling plants makes it possible to translate this knowledge into concrete technological solutions, developed to improve recovery processes.

Research & Development has always played a central role in the company’s growth. Over the past two years, this commitment has been further strengthened through increased investment and broader involvement across different departments, from mechanical design to the commercial team, with the aim of evolving solutions while keeping the needs of industry operators at the core. The latest results of this work will be presented at the upcoming edition of IFAT Munich.

Among the innovations on show will be the new Compakt and Industry grinding systems, designed to translate the established quality standards of Panizzolo technology into more essential and targeted solutions. These machines maintain the same reliability and robustness as the company’s plants, while offering configurations more focused on specific treatment requirements.

Alongside these solutions, a new line of conveyor belts will also be introduced. Developed with a modular approach, the system allows for greater flexibility in plant layout and improves the management of material flows throughout the process.

Completing the range of innovations, a next-generation separator integrating artificial intelligence algorithms will be presented. This technology is designed to bring sorting operations to a higher level of precision and automation, supporting operators in handling complex materials and improving recovery quality.
