Remondis expands in Hungary

Remondis AG & Co. KG has reached an agreement with the Otto Group in Hungary whereby the former company will takeover the latter's Hungarian disposal and recycling activities.The German Otto Group has been in Hungary since 1994, providing services to municipalities, private household and industrial organizations with four companies that are operating in western Hungary: in Vac, Oroszlany, Tapolca and Sümeg. The range of services offered include municipal and commercial waste disposal, resource collection, landfill operations, street cleaning, public landscaping and winter services.Remondis is confident that the activities of the Otto Group compliment its own services eminently, especially in the western regions of Hungary. With the amalgamation, Remondis has become a service provider for more than 500,000 people in Hungary.
