Growing Recycling Firm Snaps Up Rival : Simply Waste Solutions Expands with Acquisition
High Wycombe based waste and recycling firm, Simply Waste Solutions, has increased it acquired Wycombe Trade Waste and Skip Hire Ltd.
The company said that the deal, concluded today, will add in excess of 500 new customers to its growing client base as well as a waste transfer station that will increase its reach and capability, particularly in the northern Home Counties region, allowing it to expand further.
According to James Capel, Simply Waste Solutions’ CEO and founder Wycombe Trade Waste has had has succeeded by delivering a responsive service at a competitive price, making the acquisition an ideal fit.
Founded a decade ago Simply Waste Solutions has grown from a two truck start up into a company with an annual turnover close to £30 million, a fleet of over 50 vehicles and now more than 120 employees with a Head Office also located in High Wycombe, Bucks, and a logistics and recycling site on the doorstep of Heathrow airport.
“We have put in many years of hard work building the business so it was vitally important for us that, whoever bought it, also shared our same desire to deliver the very highest levels of customer care,” said Chris Barlow, former owner of Wycombe Trade Waste.
“It is, therefore, extremely pleasing that we’ll be handing the reins over to a company that will not only carry on our good work but also has the capability of providing our many loyal customers with an even wider range of services,” he continued.
