About Ludwig Streff Dr. Ludwig Streff, Head of Waste Management International at ICP mbH, Karlsruhe, has over 25 years of experience leading complex international waste projects. He advises governments on cost analysis, budgeting, and business planning. He directs capacity building and training for public, private, and academic sectors. His expertise includes technical, financial, legal, and environmental analyses, waste management planning, project development, and feasibility studies from local to national levels. Dr. Streff is skilled in waste characterization, funding applications, tender preparation, and FIDIC contract management. He consults on environmental matters and implements projects in the entire waste management value chain. He specializes in planning and optimizing waste-to-energy systems, secondary fuel production, recovery, incineration, landfilling, remediation, and waste disposal, as well as supervising treatment plant construction and operation. With extensive experience managing international teams, he provides training and consulting for senior staff and engineers and has strong knowledge of EU waste directives.
