At the heart of the announcement is the M&J P3000e, a new pre-shredder built on M&J's established platform and powered by the company's eDrive technology. The machine has been developed with a clear focus on operational stability — particularly in facilities where waste streams are mixed, load conditions vary, and reliability cannot be compromised.

The P3000e is designed to maintain consistent throughput regardless of what it is processing, while keeping energy consumption in check. Central to this is a combination of two proprietary technologies: UltraBoost and ReCapture®. Together, these allow the machine to continuously adjust power in response to changing loads and to harvest and reuse energy within the shredding process itself — resulting in energy savings of up to 80% compared to conventional solutions.

"With the P3000e, we are combining proven mechanical strength and reliability with intelligent power control. The machine responds instantly to changing loads and keeps performance stable without wasting energy. That is what gives our customers both higher throughput and lower operating costs," says Jens Vestergaard Nielsen, CTO at M&J Recycling.

The practical benefits extend beyond energy efficiency. Reduced wear on components and lower overall operating costs position the P3000e as a contender for one of the lowest total cost of ownership figures in its category. Its compact footprint and service-friendly construction make it straightforward to integrate into existing plants, and a broad range of configuration options means it can be adapted to suit specific site requirements.

A sharper presence in the market

The product launch is accompanied by a broader repositioning of M&J Recycling's visual identity. Updated colours and a revised product naming structure are being rolled out across machines and communications, with the aim of presenting the company's offering in a clearer and more coherent way.

Founded in 1988, M&J Recycling has spent nearly four decades developing industrial pre- and fine-shredders for demanding applications. The rebranding is intended to reflect that accumulated expertise while also signalling the company's continued investment in new technology.

"This is about clarity. We have a strong history and deep expertise in shredding technology. With this update, we are presenting that more clearly and consistently across everything we do," says René Normann Christensen, CEO of M&J Recycling.

A renewed portfolio, reflecting ongoing advancement

As part of the rebrand, the product range is being given a new naming framework designed to create a more recognisable and consistent portfolio. According to the company, the revised structure is intended to reflect both the proven mechanical foundations that underpin each machine and the ongoing development work that continues to advance their performance.

The M&J P3000e made its public debut at IFAT Munich 2026, where it could be seen alongside the M&J F240e fine-shredder in the company's updated brand colours.
