Recycling Expo Middle East : Recycling expo backs planting drive for circularity

Recycling Expo Middle East has announced its support for For Our Emirates We Plant, a nationwide tree-planting initiative led by Emirates Environmental Group. The backing forms part of the event's wider commitment to circular economy progress across the region, with exhibitors, sponsors, partners and visitors encouraged to learn more and get involved.

Launched in 2007, the initiative invites individuals, businesses, schools and communities across the UAE to take practical action for a greener future. Through tree planting, it helps expand green cover, support biodiversity, improve air quality and strengthen climate resilience, bringing organisations and communities together around a shared commitment to sustainability and civic responsibility. The programme has real reach: more than 2.15 million trees planted since inception, over 1 million participants, and more than 4 million volunteering hours recorded through Emirates Environmental Group's wider efforts.
