Jane Hamilton

About Jane Hamilton Jane Hamilton is an ISWA Climate Change and Waste Management Working Group Member who has been working in environmental and waste management for close to three decades. Her ground-level point of view is influenced by spending half of that time behind the scalehouse responding to the environmental and engineering challenges of landfill operations in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. In 2021, she completed a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Practice with a final research paper on microplastics, a topic that she remains passionate about and drives her ambitions to help develop a circular economy.
