Mostafa Ahmed

About Mostafa Ahmed Mostafa Ahmed is the Technical Lead of ISWA General Secretariat. He joined ISWA in July 2024. He holds a PhD (2021) and an MSc (2013) in Environmental Engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt, as well as an MSc (2015) in Environmental Studies of Cities and Sustainability from Aalborg University, Denmark. Hailing from Cairo, Egypt, Mostafa has 14 years of international academic and professional experience in waste management. His career has spanned various roles in research, teaching, training and consulting. Mostafa is passionate about waste management, resource recovery, and the circular economy as means to develop sustainably and improve livelihoods.
