About Zoë Lenkiewicz Zoë Lenkiewicz has worked in waste management since 2002 and exclusively in the Global South since 2017. She is Lead Author of the UN Global Waste Management Outlook 2024 and founder of Global Waste Lab — a social enterprise whose Academy aims to upskill 10,000 waste managers across the Global South in the next decade, and whose Studio provides productised support for waste management initiatives centred on local ownership and long-term resilience. She works independently across a range of international projects and speaks regularly at international sector events including the ISWA World Congress. She can be reached through globalwastelab.com.
