Entrepreneur Ewald-Marco Münzer, managing partner of Münzer Bioindustrie GmbH, was recently elected as the new president of the European Biofuels Association EWABA. The Brussels-based producers' association represents the interests of its members before EU institutions, national governments, industry stakeholders and the media. WMW talked with Münzer about the current state of the industry, the EU's plans for SAF blending rates and the impact on road and maritime transport.
