Firm to Focus on Networked Material Sorting Systems : Smart Contaminant Detection and Material Sorting Systems from Sesotec at K 2016
From 19 to 26 October in Dusseldorf, Sesotec GmbH will showcase its modular FLAKE PURIFIER+ system for the sorting of plastic flakes at the K 2016 plastics trade fair.
The company said that it will also present the RAPID PRO-SENSE metal separator and the RAYCON D x-ray inspection systems for “Industrie 4.0”
According to Sesotec Industrie 4.0 is a major topic in the plastics industry at the moment. It said that the German VDMA association of the plastics and rubber machinery industry and its member companies, of which it is one, will use K 2016 to demonstrate Industrie 4.0 technologies by way of practical examples.
The aim is to show to the trade which Industrie 4.0 technologies are already successfully used to improve production efficiency in plastics and rubber machinery production, and what their advantages are for users.
Sesotec said that its RAPID PRO-SENSE high-performance metal separator detects and separates magnetic and non-magnetic metal particles even if they are enclosed in granulate and thus ensures the quality of plastic granulate and protects plastics-processing machines against damage and clogging.
In terms of a "Smart Factory" the manufacturer said that its system can be integrated in networked production facilities.
For the quality inspection of finished plastic products Sesotec said that it will present the newly developed RAYCON D x-ray inspection system.
This system x-rays injection moulded parts and inspects them for contaminations, incorrect shape, air inclusions, or missing components, and can also can be integrated in networked production facilities.
