Cardinal Waste Solutions’ Services Merged into Waste Industries : Waste Industries’ Acquisition in Atlanta, Georgia

In Atlanta, Georgia yesterday Waste Industries acquired Cardinal Waste Solutions, merging its operations into its existing Atlanta assets operated out of its Fairburn location.

Waste Industries said that Cardinal Waste’s customers will see no changes at this time to their existing service plans with the current acquisition. It is absorbing Cardinal’s customer service team, phone number, and website to ensure a smooth transfer of operations.

Waste Industries company currently operates in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware.

In addition to its solid waste services business, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, Black Creek Renewable Energy, LLC operates its landfill gas to energy plant adjacent to the company’s Sampson County, N.C. landfill.

Byron Hurtado, Waste Industries general manager for Atlanta who is overseeing operations in Atlanta West and Atlanta South said that the company is aiming to make the transition as simple as possible for its customers.
