Collection & Handling : WasteRec Services launches mobile HDPE Shredder
After more than 2 years in the making, the 1st ever mobile high-volume plastic shredder for residential carts was planned, designed, and developed by WasteRec Services. The mobile shredder can take on any size project and is available nationwide.
With this solution residential carts are shredded on-site, loaded into Super Sacks, and then transported directly to HDPE reclaim processors nationwide. This breakthrough saves money in freight, time, and connects our industry to a larger network of processors nationwide that will not accept full-size carts. Trucks can now be loaded to their full volume, without wasted space. This maximization of freight resulting in fewer loads has both money and environmental benefits. Most importantly, this ability to shred on-site creates a safer environment for employees when loading and unloading trucks for shipment.
