Hosted in association with Recycling Waste World magazine, the conference is now open for delegate bookings at: www.efwconference.com

Highlights of the Energy from Waste conference include a panel review of the commercial environment for resource management, presentation of global market opportunities, city case studies from the UK, Canada and Singapore and roundtable discussions on the industry’s hot topics.

The event includes a dazzling line-up of renowned international speakers, including: Jose-Jorge Diaz del Castillo of the EU Commission who will deliver the opening keynote, which looks at EU policy environment for waste to energy and the circular economy; Lawrence Slade, CEO, Energy UK, will present the future energy requirements of the UK and alternative models for national generation capacity; and Dr Jennifer Holmgren, CEO, Lanza Tech who will discuss the role of waste in the bio-economy.

Delegates will also have a choice of special topic conference streams covering project finance, technology, infrastructure development and resource management, with guidance on best practice, compliance, efficiency and improving competitiveness.

Further, a site visit to the new Milton Keynes Waste Recovery Park gives delegates the opportunity to see for themselves how Milton Keynes deals with black sack waste in a sustainable way. A result of a partnership between Amey and Milton Keynes Council, this facility brings together state-of-the-art mechanical treatment and heat energy recovery technologies to make the most of household and businesses rubbish.

An exhibition of leading suppliers and service providers runs simultaneously alongside the two-day conference providing direct access for delegates to leading industrial technology and service specialists.

Delegates and exhibitors are invited to attend the relaxed and informal drinks reception and pre- conference networking dinner on the evening of 24 February.
