Rochester Facility Upgraded to Meet Increasing NHS Clinical Waste Demands : Medical Waste Firm Tradebe Healthcare Boosts Treatment Capacity by 50%
Healthcare waste specialist, Tradebe Healthcare, has completed a 50% expansion project at its Rochester facility to ensure its nationwide network of healthcare sites to meet the increasing clinical waste disposal demands of the NHS.
“This expansion is the result of significant investment in one of our key treatment facilities”, said Lynne King, Tradebe Healthcare Director. “The potential market for Tradebe Healthcare treatment services is considerable given the ever-increasing need for clinical waste disposal in the South East, and the UK at large.”
The company said that the investment follows its recent success in winning new business, in addition to winning a Supplier of the Year award in partnership with Chesterfield Royal Hospital at this year’s NHS sustainability awards.
The Rochester facility operates purpose-built technology that treats and makes safe ‘orange bagged’ waste containing infectious clinical hazardous materials through sterilisation treatment on a 24 hours a day / seven days a week basis.
