Plasco Energy Group Inc. to open waste-to-energy facility in Alberta, Canada
Environmentally-focused, Ottowa-based waste conversion company Plasco Energy is to build, own and operate its first commercial facility in central Alberta. The plant will serve the Central Waste Management Commission (CWMC) led by Red Deer County's Mayor Earl Kinsella.The two organizations have signed a contract that agrees to a supply of 300 tonnes of waste per day that will be converted in to 15 MW of electricity to be used on the local grid.'We are extremely pleased to showcase Plasco's world leading environmental performance andenergy generation in Red Deer County in Central Alberta,' said Plasco's Executive Vice President ChrisGay.
