German PET flake sorting system manufacturer, Sesotec, is to showcase its new generation FLAKE PURIFIER+ multi-sensor sorting system for plastics recycling at the Drinktec 2017 trade fair in Munich from 11 to 15 September.

The company said that the upgraded system allows to offer customers complete sorting stations for PET flake recycling. Target customers include recycling companies looking for a profitable solution for PET flake recycling and wish to have all the components - from air separator through to sorting machine - from one source.

According to Sesotec its complete PET flake sorting line offers many advantages including fewer interfaces and contact persons, and uniform operation of all the line components. It also said that the mechanical sorting processes are perfectly matched to sensor sorting, and both ensure optimal performance.

The FLAKE PURIFIER+ multi-sensor sorting system features optimised material infeeding for a more evenly distributed material flow and increased material throughput. It also allows easier maintenance and integration.

The company added that the system's dust-proof design and integrated dust and label extraction connections provide increased efficiency in the recycling process. All Sesotec multi-sensor sorting systems, including the new FLAKE PURIFIER+, are available with all sensor combinations and in various working widths.

"Since we received more and more inquiries from customers who wanted to know whether Sesotec also provides complete sorting stations, we decided to satisfy this customer wish,” said Says Michael Perl, Head of BU Sorting Recycling at Sesotec.

“The advantages for customers are obvious,” he continued. “ The amount of time and money needed for the coordination of a project is considerably reduced, and the PET flake sorting station operates with maximum profitability.”

Sesotec can be found at Drinktec 2017 in hall A4, stand 306.
