Management Take-Over as Emissions Tech Firm Renamed MiniPlus : Voith Paper Off-Loads Waste to Energy Flue Gas Cleaning Technology Division
German paper making equipment manufacturer and flue gas technology firm, Voith GmbH & Co. KG, has reached an agreement to off-load its Dutch subsidiary, Voith Paper CTC Technology B.V., Vaassen to the firm’s existing management team.
The spun-off firm, renamed as MinPlus B.V. has specialised expertise in stationary fluidised bed technology for low calorific fuels (CTC- Process) as well as in the high temperature injection cleaning technology for flue gases from power plants (MinPlus Technology).
The company claimed that it is the only player in the market to apply an ecologically and sustainably produced high temperature stable mineral blend for flue gas cleaning, which is directly injected into the combustion chamber of waste to energy plants. The technology is said remove a major share of chlorine and sulfur compounds from the flue gas.
In addition, MinPlus is said to reduce boiler corrosion, fouling and the consumption of conventional cleaning chemicals.
The manufacturer added that it is confident of further expansion of CTC and MinPlus technologies in the market..
“With our highly specialised team and the innovative as well as practically proven CTC and MinPlus technologies we will now be able to set even stronger focus in our core markets,” said two of the firm’s directors in a statement.
