Wheelie Good Bin Launched by MGB Plastics

Rotherham, UK based MGB Plastics has unveiled what it claims to be the most advanced wheelie bin the UK has yet seen, as well as innovative new kitchen caddies. In a bid to make the new 240L wheelie bins stronger and more durable, a curvier and sleeker design has been employed. In addition, rounded corners and a smooth finish enable it to offer easy to clean internal surfaces. The company said that the products have taken almost six months to design and develop following research by MGB and are part of the company's commitment to create innovative products for food waste recycling. Conor Sugrue, General Manager at MGB Plastics, said: "We started our research and development of the new 240L and kitchen caddy following feedback from a number of our partners and clients." "It took us six months to create these products and we are delighted with the results. As a business we are continually committed to investing in good quality design products and these are an example of the investment we continue to make in tackling waste management and recycling issues." "We have also investing in equipment which gives us the capacity to manufacturer over one and a half million wheeled bins per annum." Created from a mixture of virgin and recycled plastic, the wheelie bins have a strengthened front rim to ensure exact locking on lifting equipment. The design also features solid rubber tyres with steel spring loaded locking pins. This bin has a stronger more durable design with the availability of many optional extras such as RFID tags and printing. The new 5, 7 and 23L Kitchen Caddy has an innovative sleek design that will fit seamlessly into a modern kitchen, available in a choice of modern colours and with sealed lockable lids to prevent odour escape. "The UK generates 18 - 20 million tonnes of food waste each year and we believe that our Kitchen Caddies are an excellent way to further increase recycling rates and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill," added Mr Sugrue. "Our aim is that these products will be at the forefront of helping local authorities to meet their recycling targets continually."
