Textile recycling at a crossroads: can policy and the circular economy keep up?

Textile waste volumes are climbing and a wave of new regulation is on the way — but the textile recycling and reuse sector says it is being left out of the room. At a recent industry gathering in Gothenburg, speakers warned that the circular economy, and the sustainability goals resting on it, could stall unless policymakers start working with the industry rather than around it.
